E17 Art Trail 2024

The E17 art trail is back! This year I’m not only presenting my solo exhibition – ‘Mirror Mirror’ – in my studio, I’m also taking part in a group exhibition - ‘States of Clay’ - at Gnome House, AND I’m participating in the E17 art trail 20th anniversary workshop fair at Big Penny Social, offering abstract drawing taster sessions. Phew!

‘Mirror Mirror’ Venue No.87

Do visit my solo show at my studio, 54 Church Hill E17 9RY where I will be showing my recent watercolour paintings and drawings. Exploring ideas of perpetual flux though portraiture, we see that human beings do not stay the same; and at the same time as we are observing them, we too are changing. No didactic shouting here - just carefully defined areas of uncertainty and doubt.

Entrance via side gate in Woodbury rd. As usual light refreshments available.

The studio will be open over 2 weekends: Sat 1st and Sun 2nd June, and Sat 8th and Sun 9th of June, 2 – 6 pm each day.

‘States of Clay’ at Gnome House

I have contributed work to the group show ‘States of Clay’, curated by Esther Nelson which will bring together work by ceramists showing their 2D work alongside their 3D ceramics.

This will be at Gnome House, 7 Blackhorse Lane E17 6DS and open from:

1st – 16th June

Thursdays & Fridays 11am – 6pm

Saturdays and Sundays 11am – 5pm

Private view. Thursday 6 June, 6 - 9pm
